Russian Beach Rugby Championship

Russian Beach Rugby Championship was held at the Dynamo Beach Sports Center in Moscow on 1-2 August. Our players and staff had to do COVID-19 test to participate in the tournament. Belaya Krepost became very first team of Belgorod region who took part in federal competitions.
It was 1st big tournament for more then a half of our players. Belaya Krepost took 12 place.

Girl from Belgorod in Slava

Alena Davydova, one of the players of our women's team, spent several weeks on an internship at Slava women's rugby club (Moscow).
Alena is one of the best perfomers of Belaya Krepost. She did her best and showed her skills in Moscow and was chosen to the Slava squad for the first tour of Federal rugby League.
Slava took 6th place (out of 10). Our player made the first try in her career agains Nizhniy Novgorod team.

Master class in the summer camp

On August 26, a tag rugby master class was held at the Yunost children's camp. The participants were children of different ages: the youngest 7, and the oldest 16. Even the counselors did not stand aside and tried to throw the rugby ball.
The master class program included outdoor games with balls for kids, and older children tried all the basics of rugby. They learned how to pass the ball, worked with a rugby shield and at the end played played tag rugby.

Tourist hike for young rugby players

On August 27 and 28, the Belgorod Region Rugby Federation held mini-hikes for young rugby players as part of the program of the Presidential Grants Fund.
The guys got acquainted with the basics of orienteering and tourism, passed the obstacle course and learned how to set up a tent. Of course there was time for entertainment: pillow fights, outdoor games and tag rugby. During the break the young rugby players replenished their energy by having lunch with sausages cooked on fire
